About This Recruitment
General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra is inviting applications from eligible candidates for appointment to 2 posts of State Right to Public Services Commissioner in the Maharashtra State Commission for Right to Public Services. Salary & Benefits
- During appointment (up to 5 years or age 65)₹2,25,000/month
Basic salary is ₹2,25,000 per month. Allowances and other terms of service apply as per prevailing Government rules. If receiving pension or retirement benefits, adjustment will be made according to applicable provisions.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the functioning of Government or a public authority.
- Must be an eminent person in public life with wide knowledge and experience in administration.
Skills
- Possess knowledge of relevant laws, quasi-judicial procedures, transparency, administrative leadership, and decision-making ability.
Age Limit
- Age: 45-62 years as on the last date of application submission (16 Nov 2026).

- Scrutiny of received applications by Secretary-level Scrutiny Committee.
- Shortlisted candidate list submitted to Committee under the Chairpersonship of Hon'ble Chief Minister for final selection.

- Pay the application fee of ₹1,000/- via Cash at Cash Branch of General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, or deposit under Treasury Head '0070-0119-01', or via Demand Draft in favour of 'Section Officer, Cash Branch, General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai'.
- Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, age proof, experience certificates, bio-data, affidavit, and original fee receipt/DD.
- Enclose all documents in a sealed envelope superscribed with 'Application for the Post of State Commissioner for Right to Public Services'.
